The best trash can cleaning software in 2026, compared

Eight tools bin cleaners actually use, with their real prices and what's in the cheapest plan. We make Binly, so we've stuck to facts you can check on each company's own pricing page.

The short versionFor a one or two truck bin business, the things that matter most are customers booking themselves, monthly plans that rebook, and a simple daily route. Several tools start at $50 a month or less, including Binly, QuoteIQ's cheaper plans, Jobber, GorillaDesk and LayCor. QuoteIQ has the most bin features, but its bin self-signup and route optimization are on the $299.99 Elite plan. Jobber and Housecall Pro are great general tools that aren't built for bins.

Each one, in a few lines

Binly

Made only for trash can cleaning. Customers book by trash day, add extra bins and add-ons, and see the price before booking. Monthly plans book the next wash when you mark one paid. Every plan has unlimited customers, from $29.99 a month. Weak spots: no card payments inside the app yet, texts open on your phone instead of sending automatically, and no true route optimization. Best for: one or two truck residential bin businesses that want something simple.

QuoteIQ

The most bin-specific features of the general tools: per-bin pricing, a pickup-day map, pause and resume, and photos. The $29.99 Essentials plan has online booking and recurring billing for one user. The features bin businesses talk about most, bin subscription self-signup and route optimization, are on Elite at $299.99 a month. A card is required for the trial. Best for: owners who want a lot of features, including marketing and AI tools, and are ready to pay for the bigger plans. See Binly vs QuoteIQ.

Jobber

Polished, widely used field service software with clear card fees (2.9% + 30¢). Not built for bins, so trash day and per-bin pricing are up to you. Cheaper if you pay yearly. Best for: businesses that also do pressure washing or other home services.

Housecall Pro

Online booking on every plan and low card rates. Recurring service plans and route optimization are on the Max plan. Best for: multi-service home service companies.

GorillaDesk

Built for pest control and lawn routes, so recurring stops are natural. Unlimited office users; you pay per truck route. Online booking starts on Pro. Best for: route businesses that want routing on a budget.

LayCor

$49 with unlimited users and a 30-day money-back guarantee, but recurring bookings, routing, two-way texting and reminders are paid add-ons, so the real price is higher. Best for: owners who like to pick and pay for only the parts they use.

iRoutes

Built by and for bin and can valet operators, priced by how many active customers you have, with one-time setup fees. Best for: established bin businesses with hundreds of customers.

Square Appointments

Free to start, with a booking site and card payments. Nothing for bin routes or monthly bin plans. Best for: someone testing the idea with zero monthly cost.

How to choose

  1. Count your customers and trucks. Under about 150 customers and one truck, you need booking, rebooking and a simple route, not a big system.
  2. Add up the real monthly cost with the add-ons and the plan you'd actually need, not the cheapest plan on the page.
  3. Book a wash on their demo yourself, on your phone. If it's confusing for you, it's confusing for your customers.
  4. Check how you get your data out if you leave. In Binly, it's one tap in Settings.

FAQs

What is the best software for a trash can cleaning business?

It depends on your size. Starting out with a few dozen customers, a simple tool with online booking and monthly rebooking (Binly, QuoteIQ Essentials or Square's free plan) is enough. With hundreds of customers and several trucks, route optimization matters more, and tools like QuoteIQ Elite or iRoutes are built for that.

Is there free trash can cleaning software?

Square Appointments has a free plan with an online booking site and invoices, but nothing for bin routes or monthly bin plans. Most bin-focused tools offer a free trial instead of a free plan.

Do I need route optimization?

Not at first. With one truck and 10 to 20 stops a day in one area, grouping stops by street is usually enough. Route optimization starts paying off with many stops spread across a city or more than one truck.
